Our Arlington Workforce Center has moved


Reminder our Arlington Workforce Center located on the UTA campus is now officially closed. Our staff will be moving offices, during this move services will be offered virtually or at one of our other locations.


Our Arlington Workforce Center will reopen at the new location (2000 E. Lamar) on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8am.

FATHERHOOD GRANT OPPORTUNITY


The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has released the Fatherhood EFFECT Grant (RFA No. HHS0016580), which supports programs that strengthen families by providing parent education and resources to fathers, father figures, and expectant fathers connected to children ages 0–17.

  • Issuing Agency: Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)
  • Program Name: Fatherhood EFFECT (Educating Fathers for Empowering Children Tomorrow)
  • Application Deadline: January 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. CST
  • Target Population: Fathers and father figures across Texas, including those in Tarrant County


This grant is a valuable opportunity to expand fatherhood support services in our community. Please feel free to share this link with others who may be interested.
