This week support our youth on their mission trip with your prayers.
We are traveling to Ft. Myers Florida to the Harlem Heights community to help rebuild from Hurricane Ian. A big thank you to everyone who supported us with our fundraising. We are hiring Nursery Workers!
Each Sunday morning, Christ Church has two staffed rooms to care for children up to age 3 while parents and families attend worship services. If you are over the age of 18 and love caring for infants, playing with toddlers, or have some great babysitting experience, we welcome your application. Pay is hourly and the completion of Safeguarding God’s People online training is required, as well as a criminal background check. 2023 Creative Arts Camp is taking a trip “Around the World”!
We have a great group of kids signed up and have reached our registration limit! We are looking for volunteers to help during the week! You don’t need to be an artist, singer, or dancer to help, but should be ready to have fun and help our lead teachers with activities. Can you be a:
- Music room assistant
- Dance room assistant
- Drama room assistant
- Wildcard room assistant
- Nurse/Chief Ice Pack Maker
- Floater
There are "come when you can", full day, and half day spots available. Volunteers receive a t-shirt, lunch and/or snacks. To sign-up, click here.

Learning to Forgive: A Leadership and Conflict Skills Class, Sunday, July 30 12:30 - 2:30 PM, Graham Library
Improve your marriage and your other relationships, by learning how to forgive others. Jesus tells Peter in Matthew 18:22 to forgive others seventy-seven times. What Jesus does not tell Peter is how to do it. This class teaches you a process which can lead to forgiveness. Lunch is provided for $15. Men’s Ministry Whitewater Rafting, August 19
Adventure awaits! Join the Men’s Ministry as they tame the rapids of the Chattooga River. This August the men of Christ Church will brave the whitewater for some fun and fellowship in the great outdoors. Men and kids are welcome. Youth must be 8 or older for the mostly class 2 and 3 rapids with one class 4. Camping on the evening of the 19th is available for those that would like to stay.REGISTRATION OPENING SOON!
