HFM Community Closet

Her Future Matters is setting up a Community Closet starting Saturday March 9, 2024, at 2PM.


Please note this will be open for a limited time, allowing women in need of clothing to come in and obtain clothes for work free of charge.


Her Future Matters (HFM) is a program of Fatih Restore Inc. committed to providing professional wardrobes to survivors of domestic violence.

Social Networking Mixer in West Dallas

Calling ALL Business Owners


We want to meet you!



Join us Saturday, March 30th from 10am-1pm at the Jaycee Zaragoza Recreation Center 3114 Clymer St for our Networking Social Mixer sponsored by Texas Service Life Family 1. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards and get ready to meet, greet, network and build business relationships with other like-minded business owners in the community.

We are seeking 3-4 additional sponsors. As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to set up an information table at the event and 5 minutes to introduce yourselves and your business on the mic.

We are gearing up for Easter activities and need donations of candy and plastic eggs.

FAITH RESTORE EVENTS

We will officially begin collecting school supplies at the end of the current school year in May.


There will also be a supply drive held on Saturday 7/13/24 in the parking lot of Jaycee Park near the pool area.


We are filling 400+ bags and need everything from crayons, paper, rulers, index cards, markers, binders, dividers, glue, scissors, folders, notebook paper, construction paper, manilla paper, etc.

4th Annual Back to School Bash will take place on Saturday August 3rd at Jaycee Recreation Center.


Pre-registration for free school supplies will be available on the website in late July. Check the website often for updates.

Singing Hills Recreation Center in collaboration with TOPS (Teens Organized and Prepared for Success) will be hosting the MYndFULLness Teen Summit, a special event specifically designed for teen girls aged 13-17.

The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program


DVAP recruits, trains and supports volunteer attorneys to provide free, civil legal help to low-income Dallas County residents.


Apply for legal assistance, by filling out the online form.

D6 Youth Commissioner, Margarita Hernandez, is needing help restocking the Community Closet at L G Pinkston High School.


What is the Community closet?

This room consists of Hygiene products including Kotex, Tampons, Lotions, Body wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bars of soaps, Deodorants, Body Spray, Body Wipes, shaving cream and razors for both males and females. And are provided for FREE to ALL students of Pinkston HS.

Donations are being collected all week to have it stocked when they return from Spring Break.
