Dear Village Community ❤️

What is the vision of we are village? What are our sources of income – and how do we spend them? These are questions we get asked regularly – and rightly so. Because we believe: When we build community, we also share responsibility. That’s why we’re taking an important step – toward more openness, clarity, and trust.

Why transparency matters to us

Transparency is not just an administrative gesture – it’s commitment: to trust, to accountability, and to the people who make we are village possible. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated Transparency page on our website. It provides access to essential information about our goals, structures, finances, and decision-making processes.

As part of this step, we are village has also joined the list of signatories of the Initiative for a Transparent Civil Society – becoming part of a broad alliance of nonprofit organizations committed to transparency.

Transparency is a journey – not a fixed state. Together with you we can continue to grow.

Warmly,

Your we are village team
