At we are village, our events are at the heart of how we connect, celebrate, and support each other. To make sure these moments continue to be welcoming, and well-organized, we’re introducing a new step: from now on, joining events will mean registering through our website. It’s a simple change, but one that helps us care for each other better and make our gatherings smoother and easier for everyone – for participants, for volunteers, for facilitators and for our team.

Why we ask you to register

From now on, registration through our website will be required for all events – including the free ones. We know this is a change, and we want to explain why it matters. By registering, you help us and our volunteers plan better: we can prepare enough space, materials, and support for everyone who wants to join. Keeping track of attendance also helps us to keep many of our events free of charge.

Each time you check in to an event it shows us which events are responding to your needs and which may need to be improved. It also helps us to create offerings based on real demand and helps us reach more people and build a diverse and inclusive community.

Below, you’ll find a simple step-by-step guide to the registration process, along with ways to reach us if you have any questions, feedback, or run into technical issues.

Your we are village team

Follow these simple steps below to create your user account and to register for events on our website. We’ve broken the process down into seven steps to make it clear and manageable, whether you’re familiar with online registrations or trying it out for the first time. 

1. Create an account

If you don’t have a user account yet, you’ll need to sign up first.

2. Sign in

If you already have an account, just log in using the button at the top right corner of our website.

3. Select your event

Go to the event calendar to choose the event you’d like to attend.

(By the way: All purple, red and green events are free, thanks to our funding.)

4. Register

Click on Zur Anmeldung (German) or Registration (English) on the event page.

5. Checkout

Click on Kasse (German) or Checkout (English).

6. Complete the form

Fill in your details and confirm by clicking Anmelden (German) or Order now (English).

If you mark the form as your default, you won’t need to fill it in again next time.

7. Confirmation You will see your order details on screen and receive a confirmation email with your ticket.

A note on CAPTCHA

Sometimes, when you register, a small test called a CAPTCHA will appear. This helps us keep the system safe from spam. If it doesn’t load properly, simply refresh the page and try again.

Getting used to registering online will make things smoother for everyone. It gives us more time to focus on what matters most: building community, sharing joy, and creating safer spaces together.
