Background
This survey was fielded to obtain perceptions and opinions regarding the Cox Cable Service benefit at Red Mountain Ranch. Information and opinions derived from the survey will inform the RMROA Board of Directors about the existing program and could potentially assist the Board in making recommendations.
Methodology
An online survey was sent to 1707 e-mail address of homeowners in Red Mountain Ranch via Constant Contact on May 25, 2023. A follow up survey was sent on June 28, 2023 to non-responders.
Statistics
A total of 1295 e-mails ( 75.9%) were opened as a result of the May 25th and June 28th e-mails. Of this total, 543 surveys (30%) were completed. It should be noted that a small number of households had the opportunity to respond more than once due to separate and distinct e-mails in one household.

- Usage of the benefit is high – 81%
- Cox is also the internet provider of choice – 89%

Cable TV is the preferred method of viewing by 59%
- Streaming more than cable – 33%
- The perceived dollar value of the program is low – 45% indicate that they believe the value is worth $30 per month
