Events

All Emory Crossing events held at the Amenity Center are for residents only unless otherwise stated. Registration links will be included in this year's community events. Please register so we can plan accordingly.

This event is based on your participation. The Association will put out the banner to help drive traffic off Ed Schmidt, however it is encouraged for you to advertise on your social media platforms. If you put out garage sale signs, they must be picked up after the sale. Bulk pickup must be scheduled with your refuse provider. Trash may not stay at the curb unless you notify the Association of the scheduled date.

Want to be included on the digital map? Sign up here: Digital Map. Signing up for the map is not required but is encouraged to help drive traffic to your garage sale. An email with the Map Link will be sent on March 23rd so you can share it on your socials! The map will be updated through March 27th at around noon.

Those with alleyways, please have your garage sale in the front yard, as parking in the alley is not permitted. Let's keep our alleyways safe.

Volunteer and Committee Opportunities are coming soon!

Management and the Board are wrapping up details. If you want to help with events or around the Amenities, please reach out! As soon as the charter is finalized, another email will be sent out, but a personal invite will be sent to you.

Please register so we know how many people to account for. Remember, this is for your household only. Please do not invite others from outside the community, as our assessments pay for our social event budget.

Save the dates!

Earth Day is April 22nd. The Association is planning a Butterfly Garden Event with Sunscape from 5-6:30pm.

There will be a community event on May 1st from 3-5pm to celebrate the new pool season. See all the fun pool updates below.

Community Info

Sports Court

The court is OPEN!

The construction fence has been removed. Sod, irrigation, and additional grading are still in progress, but we know you have been waiting so long for this.

Please use the "Good Neighbor" policy while using the court. If others are waiting, leave the court within the hour, and/or offer them to join you. This is a great way to meet your neighbors with similar interests!.

Boulders

Boulders are there to be played on and around. Please do not move the boulders into "Fall Zones" which are designated by 6' away from anything over 18" tall.

Pool Updates

New pool furniture was ordered this week! The older furniture will stay on the deck until it's lifespan has expired. Please report any damage or concerns to management.

Spring is Coming!

Let's prepare for Spring Sprucing now. Need a schedule? Our landscaper has provided a guide to help you plan.

See last year's newsletter for relevant tips.

Native Milkweed

Pflugerville HEBs should have them beginning March 21st. Hutto may have them around that time, too.

Do not plant Tropical Milkweed. This is junk food for the monarchs and does not allow them to properly migrate. Let's save the monarchs and only plant native!

The City of Hutto has a Tool Loan Program.

This information is also on the Amenity Bulletin Board.

Landscaping Tips & Tricks

Weeds in the Rocks & Yard - Spray a post emergent &/or pull these weeds and grasses out of the rocks.

Aster Weed - Pull this weed before it gets out of control.

Nutsedge Weed - Treat with SedgeHammer. Do not pull. It will spread.

Tree Pruning - All trees should be worked up to a 6-8' canopy base as the tree matures. If the tree is along a sidewalk, they need to be pruned up to 14'.

Fence Stain - Approved color is Wood Defender, Color: 200 Series, Semi-Transparent Sierra.

Dead Trees - Must be replaced with the same species, unless otherwise approved.

Trash/Recycling Bins - Store them out of view when it is not trash day. If you have an alley, you may store them on the driveway near the garage door.

Parking - Commercial vehicles are prohibited. Registration must be showing at all time. No car covers or expired registration is permitted. Do not park in fire lanes at any time.

BUURT - Your New Resident Portal

To make managing your association account simpler and more convenient, we recently introduced BUURT, our new resident portal, which is your one-stop shop where you can pay assessments, review your account details, and stay informed about your community.

With secure single sign-on, you no longer need to visit multiple websites or keep track of multiple passwords. Once you’re logged in, you can easily:

  • Make payments directly through Western Alliance Bank (also known as Alliance Association Bank or AAB)
  • View your account balance and transaction history
  • Review your property's open compliance
  • Access the calendar and important association documents

We’re excited to share that more than 60 residents have already logged in and explored the new system! While you can continue to use your previous payment methods for your assessments, we encourage you to take advantage of the new system for all digital payments.
