Hutto Solve-It App

This is a handy little app to report problems.

Have a concern the city needs to address? Try the app!

Street Light Outage

The Association does not own any lights or poles on the streets. Please report outages and damages to Oncor. There are step by step instructions on our FAQ Page.

You can also request additional lighting. One neighbor is working on their area and may have some success. It can't hurt to ask!

The City of Hutto does not directly communicate with neighborhood associations. All information acquired is researched through the city's resources. Please see the common links below if you need more information about the city and their development plan. Unfortunately, the Association and the Developer does not know much about the project on the other side of Ed Schmidt other than it is apartments. That information was found on the Building Permit site.

Streets of Emory Crossing

The streets belong to the city. Please contact the non-emergency number for illegal parking. Street parking is legal unless it is a fire lane.

Blocking sidewalks, driveways, or facing the incorrect direction would be considered non-emergency issues for the police department.

Some residents requested more signage and crosswalks. The Association can request these things, but know that your help may escalate the work being completed. Average time for the Association to get Public Works to add signage has been 3-5 months, assuming it is approved.

Developer Update

In the survey, some asked for more community build updates from the Developer. Here's a quick recap of what is happening!

Phase 1 - Lots to build: 6 single-family homes, 2 condos, 1 townhome building.

  • Consists of Stinchcomb Rd, Moose Rd., Thurman Holt Rd., Sandra Ann Way, Gurley Cove.

Phase 2 - Lots to build: 2 single-family homes, 1 commercial lot. We do not know anything more about the commercial lot and what could go there. It has not sold yet.

  • Consists of townhome buildings 1-4, Flowers Ave north of ECB, Watkinville Rd, Adeline Rd., Oconee St., Doodle Ln west of Flowers Ave., Gracie Way.

Phase 3 - In-progress with single-family homes and condos. Three townhome buildings have been completed. This phase will include a trail extension near the Lift Station.

  • Consists of townhome buildings 5-7, Flowers Ave south of ECB, Betsy Rd., Karly Cv., Vanderscile Rd., Makinaw Rd., Wynn Rd., Doodle Ln. east of Flowers Ave., Lansing Rd., Ricky Ct., Beartooth Way, Childress St., Crumpton Way up to Wynn Rd.

Phase 4 - In-progress with single-family homes, condos and townhomes. While in Phase 7, the detention pond with trail extension will be completed during Phase 4's development.

  • Consists of Crumpton Way from Wynn Rd. to Halsey Rd., Bette Rd., Dismukes Rd., Christy St., Robert Ln. from Vanderscile Rd. to Halsey Rd., some condos on ECB.

Phase 5-8 are not in production yet. There will be another detention pond developed in Phase 6. There will also be 1-2 pocket parks developed within these phases. Please note the PUD determines what can go into them.

FM 1660 Entrance has faced delays due to other entities involved in the project. The Developer expects the intersection to be operational by the 2nd Quarter.

Sports Court construction has begun. The estimated completion time is January. Please do not cross the orange fence barriers, as it is not safe.

A map is not available yet, as it changes slightly as the project continues.

Winter Decor

The holiday season is upon us! Please make sure if you decorate: all decor needs to be removed by January 15th.

Wasps are active right now trying to find warmth. Pest Control has been called several times to help with the playground and fitness area. Please use caution, as nests have not been located. They have treated openings with possible activity. We think they are attracted to the warm poles and plastic roofs. As the weather cools below 50F, the wasps will die off, minus the Queen, which will hibernate for the winter.

Pest control has service once a month. Landscaping has gone to bi-weekly for the Winter. Ant killer is now available in the office, should a mound pop up during a non-service week. Rains tend to make the fire ants move around, which is why you see so many mounds afterwards.

The office is closed the rest of today due to an industry event.

The office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in Observance of Veteran's Day. Thank you for your service and sacrifices!
