Important Updates

Quick FYIs

  • The office will be closed at 10 am Thursday, October 17th due to an off-site meeting. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  • There is a NEW Architectural Review process is now active. See below for more info.
  • Past newsletters can be found on EmoryCrossing.com.
  • Compliance drives are every other week, typically on Wednesday.
  • Trail Walks and Amenity reviews are every week, typically on Tuesday. Walk with the Manager! Meet me at the amenity center at 8 am. The walk is approximately 2 miles.
  • Sand in the drinking fountain by the playground is causing unnecessary repair expenses. Please do not allow children to put sand in the fountain. Using sinks or the fountains to wash sand off is discouraged as the pipes are not meant for this purpose. Baby powder is a handy item to keep with you for sand removal.
  • Alleyways - your trashcan notices have been placed on hold until further notice while the Board develops a possible resolution. Do not store cans in the alleyways. Have a suggestion? Email it in.
  • FINAL WEEKEND: The pool will close for the season on Sunday at 11pm.

Architectural Applications

All exterior modifications to your home require review and approval via submission of an architectural application.

The developer of your HOA has hired Architectural Plan Review, LLC as a service and consultant to facilitate the HOA reviews in your community to maintain aesthetic appeal throughout the community. A fee is paid for each review. As an Architectural Control Consultant, APR will base their decisions primarily on the Legal Documents set forth by the Declarant for the Community. Where those Documents are silent, they will take direction from the Declarant/Developer as long as the Development is still under construction.

To submit an HOA Modification Request to Architectural Plan Review, please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit our website at https://form.jotform.com/BusinessBridge/APR_HOA.
  2. Complete the Modification Request Page and attach up to three supporting documents (if you are unable to attach all of your documents, please email remaining documents to tabitha.gilliam@archplanreview.com once you have submitted the e-form)
  3. Additional information may be requested in order to complete your review
  4. Pay your Review Fee with credit or debit card (convenience fees do not apply). Your Application will not be accepted without payment.
  5. Click “Send to Architectural Plan Review”

Note:

  • Only one (1) Improvement will be reviewed per Application. If you are planning to complete multiple projects simultaneously, you will need to submit and pay for them separately.
  • Once submitted, your request is added to our queue and will be reviewed in the order it was received. If all the necessary details pertaining to your project have been provided to APR, your project will be reviewed for a Final Decision.
  • The Reviewer may request additional information regarding your project. This will place your project “On Hold”. The review will not continue until the supplementary material is received.
  • APR has up to thirty (30) days after receipt of your application and all required details to complete the review and provide a decision (unless an alternate timeline is described within your community’s governing documents). All responses will be sent to the Homeowner via email.

Reminders:

Please do not wash hands or put sand in the drinking fountains. This clogs the fountain, which requires an expensive repair. If you are caught damaging property, you could be charged for the damage repairs.

Trash days are Mondays/Tuesdays. Cans must be stored out of view Wednesday - Sunday. If you would like to add screening, please see the "Architectural Application" Process above.

Did your tree die recently? Now is the time to prepare to replant. We recommend a certified arborist plant your tree. Trees planted improperly will be prone to disease and a shorter lifespan.
