Events

Trail Walk Tuesdays is back now that the weather is cooling down. Meet at the Association Office at 8:15am (this time can vary week to week). The trail walk is approximately 3 miles, however you do not have to commit to the entire walk. Can't make this timeframe but still want to participate? No problem. Message the office and we will work out something.

This walk is performed to inspect the dog stations, landscaping, trail conditions, and trash conditions.

Garage Sale: Thank you to everyone who participated! I hope you did well. I am making an attempt to sync the community garage sales with other communities in Hutto. If this is successful, this should drive more traffic.

October 7th - Annual Party/National Night Out from 5-7pm

You will not want to miss this event! It will be bigger and better than last year. Lots of raffle prizes from local businesses, pumpkin painting, face painting, photobooth, games, STEM trailer, and a food truck! We also should receive a visit from the Police and Fire Departments.

October 15th - Annual Meeting 5-6:30pm

We get it, meetings can be boring. But, this year, we hope to pique your interest with important announcements. Please join us online. The Condo meeting will be at 5 pm and the Master meeting will be at 5:30 pm. More information is posted on our Annual Meeting page, as well as in the bulletin board, and will be sent to homeowners.

October 18th - Fall Fest 11-1pm

UT isn't playing until 5pm, so you have plenty of time to have fun with your neighbors. A&M hasn't announced the time of their game just yet, but we hope it won't interfere. What NFL or College team do you root for?

Get ready to rock with Blevins! Click the image below to preview some of their music. They perform a variety of genres.

In The Know

graphic-helping-hands.jpg

Thank you to those who have submitted their thoughts! There is some really helpful information coming in.

Resident Survey

Let your voice be heard. This is an opportunity to voice your thoughts and ideas. It allows the Board of Directors and CCMC know how we can continue to make Emory Crossing one of the best neighborhoods in Hutto.

Resident Survey

The survey will be open until October 9th.

As noted above, you may always reach out to the office with your thoughts. Communication is key.

Wildfire Safety

Huge thank you to one of our residents, Greg for putting out a fire he spotted at the entrance earlier this week!

Just a friendly reminder not to litter, but especially don't throw cigarettes out. We are surrounded by dry farm land. Our firebreaks will only protect us so much.

For more safety tips, please see our Wildfire section of our website.

Tool Loan Program

The police department has been working on this program for a while now. They have finally launched it! Tools are expensive, especially if you only need them here and there. The police department has collected tools to borrow!

Irrigation Adjustments

Adjusting the irrigation heads is a fairly easy task. If you notice overspray onto the sidewalk/driveway, simply adjust the head. This can change the direction, the degree of water coming from the head (ie: 45, 90, 180, or even 360), and how far it can spray. Most heads can be adjusted with a flathead screwdriver. If your heads are different from the video link below, Google Video search for your sprinkler head brand/type. There is most likely a tutorial out there.

Time to check your trees. If they are leaning or do not look alive, they most likely need a tree doctor (arborist) to take a look. If your tree needs to be replaced, that will need to take place in September - November to give the tree the best chance against our harsh summers. Most likely, you received a notice this week if your tree does not look healthy.

Replanting the same type of tree does not require an architectural request. However, if you want to change the type of tree, please see the Native Tall Tree list on the City of Hutto's UDC and submit an application for your tree of choice. A truncated document can be found on the Document Library of our website.

If your trees are over 2 years old, please remove the stakes. This helps promote a healthy root system. It also prevents the trunk from being damaged by the tie down.

For more information, see our Landscaping Page.
