MN Waiver Overview
Interested in learning more about the waiver programs in MN? Waivers provide funding for home and community-based services (HCBS) for those who qualify. Participants use waivers (specifically, CDCS funding) to help pay for MICC's programs and services in the College, Careers, Social, and Community Programs.

These introductory informational sessions will provide a broad overview and steps for people who have not started or are in the beginning stages of the waiver process.

Vehicle Etiquette
As you get in an MICC van, we wanted to share a few reminders to make a more enjoyable ride for all.

  • Be mindful of the volume of your voice. The vans are small spaces and loud voices and be uncomfortable for others.
  • Fill the van from the back to the front. If you are the next to get in the van, go to the back of the vehicle.
  • If you need anything to make your ride more comfortable, kindly ask the staff on your ride. If you need to further address your concern, talk to your advisor.

Remember this etiquette and go out into the community with MICC and have a good time!

Recipe of the Month
The wellness team's TV newsletter in the Wellness Lounge is constantly being updated with important Community information and tips for healthy living.

For June, we are featuring a recipe from one of our long-standing community partners, Nutritional Weight and Wellness, located in St.Paul and around the metro. They also have some great podcasts which are free to access and cover a wide range of nutrition and health topics.

June's recipe is Hamburger Soup. It can also be accessed with a QR code on the Wellness Lounge TV.
