Community Newsletter - December 2018
Message from Our CEO
Every day, but especially during the holiday season, I am inspired by the people who make Cornerstone VNA a great place to work and I am proud to recognize our accomplishments over the past year. In January, Cornerstone VNA celebrated 105 years of caring. In March, we launched a monthly Caregiver Café at the Langdon Public Library in Newington. In April, the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce honored Cornerstone VNA with the 2018 Nonprofit of the Year Award. In October, Janice Howard celebrated her 30 year anniversary with us and received the 2018 Cornerstone Award. In November, our Clinical Coordinator, Anne Carle, RN, was recognized with the 2018 Telehealth Honors. And just this month, we launched our brand new website and also honored JoAnn Pearson with the Nightingale Award. I know we will always look back on 2018 with great pride and we’re excited for the year ahead. Our continued success would not be possible without our talented team and the generous support we receive from our local community. On behalf of everyone at Cornerstone VNA, thank you for your kindness and best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!

Infinite Thanks,
Happy Holidays from Our Team

Caregiver Tips for the Holidays
A caregiver is simply defined as a person who gives help and protection to someone. Although caregiving can be a rewarding experience, it can also be challenging, especially around the holidays. This holiday season, we want to celebrate caregivers and share some helpful tips, as caregiving can be the most gracious and wonderful present that your loved one could ever receive.
