In this issue of our Community Newsletter, we'd like to emphasize the significance of dialing 811 before digging. Our unwavering commitment at Wolverine Pipe Line Company is to protect the integrity of our underground infrastructure and ensure the safety of the communities we operate in.

This unique day serves as a reminder of how important dialing 811 is in averting accidents and damage during excavation projects. It is a day to promote awareness about the necessity of safe digging practices and the protection of our communities.

Calling 811 is a simple but necessary step before beginning any excavating activity. By dialing this toll-free number, you begin the process of marking underground utilities.

  1. Installing fences or posts.
  2. Landscaping and gardening projects.
  3. Building decks or patios.
  4. Installing mailboxes or signposts.
  5. Excavating for utility line installations.
  6. Digging for swimming pools or ponds.
  7. Repairing or replacing sewer lines or septic tanks.
  8. Installing underground sprinkler systems.

As we celebrate National 811 Day, let's reaffirm our commitment to dig safely and protect our community. Remember to always call 811 before you dig!

Wolverine Pipe Line Company's Commitment to Safety

Dear Wolverine Community,

As we welcome 811 Day, we want to take the time to emphasize the top priority that Wolverine Pipe Line Company places on safety. We are unwavering in this commitment as it is our policy to protect the environment, our communities, and our employees while meeting energy needs.

Each year, Wolverine employees take a step back from everyday work to carefully evaluate safety practices. This helps to spot potential areas for improving our safety procedures and ensuring the safety of everyone involved, including our valued landowners, our community, emergency responders, and our hardworking personnel.

Every part of our operations has been driven by our commitment to upholding high standards of safety. We are adamant that safety is not only a top concern but also an essential component of our corporate culture. Adherence to safety procedures, such as the carrying out of the Loss Prevention Safety Awareness (LPSA) program, is the heart of our commitment to safety.

Rest assured that the safety of our stakeholders and the communities in which we operate will always be the top priority at Wolverine Pipe Line Company.

Wolverine Pipe Line Company is pleased to announce a $2000 donation to Alma Public School's Panther Pride Project.

This contribution aided in the construction of a cutting-edge combined artificial turf football/soccer field that will benefit both students and the community.

The Panther Pride Project attempts to improve sports possibilities while also instilling community pride. Our assistance was critical in accomplishing a crucial milestone, which was the creation of a vibrant sports environment for both the football and soccer programs.

Wolverine Pipe Line Company is dedicated to helping local educational institutions and investing in our youth's future. We hope to have a good influence on students and the community by encouraging physical well-being and community spirit.

Congratulations Panthers!

PIPE Program

Wolverine's community outreach program is called the Partners in Pipeline Education or PIPE. Through the PIPE Program, we make personal connections to the local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Emergency Management Personnel, Government Officials and other stakeholders with whom we work with for normal operation and maintenance activities and in case of an actual emergency. We are currently scheduling virtual and in-person PIPE Presentations for the remaining calendar year. If interested in participating in this program, click here to contact Chelsea Yi.
Thank you for reading the Wolverine Pipe Line Company Community Newsletter. We hope you enjoyed reading about some of the community programs and projects we have been involved in for the past few months.

Please don't forget to share this newsletter with employees, first responders, constituents, and anyone else who might be interested.
