Our Commitment to Safety
The health and public safety of our employees, stakeholders, and consumers is our first priority at Wolverine Pipe Line Company. A year into the COVID-19 pandemic, Wolverine continues to take the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus and maintain a safe work environment. We are doing this while also recognizing that, as a critical infrastructure industry, we have a special responsibility to provide necessary services to protect the public.
We take our job seriously and like many other companies, Wolverine Pipe Line Company continues to take guidance from the CDC to ensure we are doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

This includes the following actions:
  • Pre-Screen: Measure employee temperature and assess symptoms prior to start of work
  • Regular Monitoring: Employees complete β€œAre You Sick?” questionnaires upon arriving to work, self-monitor for symptoms, and report concerns to supervisors
  • Wear a Mask: Employees wear face masks when unable to maintain a proper social distance of six (6) feet outdoors and in enclosed spaces
  • Social Distance: Employees maintain six (6) feet and practice social distancing as work duties permit in the workplace
  • Work from Home: Wolverine implemented a work from home policy for those who can perform work remotely
  • Disinfect and Clean Workspaces: Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting in all common areas

For the past year, we have been doing our part to reduce the spread of the virus. With a vaccine that is becoming more readily available, we are all confident that steps can be further taken to protect themselves, their families, and their neighbors.
Paradigm Recap
This year, Wolverine Pipe Line Company personnel attended 18 Paradigm Liaison meetings in areas in which its pipeline system traverses. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, each meeting was virtual and consisted of a tabletop exercise and pipeline safety presentation. Emergency responders, excavators, public officials, and school leaders were invited to participate in each interactive training. If you missed out on the 2021 Paradigm programs, there is additional training offered through their website that you can register for by clicking here. Thank you to all who attended Paradigm in 2021 and we will see you next year!
Virtual PIPE Program
Wolverine's community outreach program is called the Partners in Pipeline Education or PIPE. Through the PIPE Program, we make personal connections to the local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Emergency Management Personnel, Government Officials and other stakeholders with whom we work with for normal operation and maintenance activities and in case of an actual emergency. We are currently scheduling virtual PIPE Presentations for the remaining calendar year. If interested in participating in this program, click here to contact Chelsea Yi.
Thank you for reading the Wolverine Pipe Line Company Community Newsletter. We hope you enjoyed reading about some of the community programs and projects we have been involved in for the past few months.

Please don't forget to share this newsletter with employees, first responders, constituents, and anyone else who might be interested.
