The Sanibel Recreation Center is excited to announce the return of The Great Spring Egg Hunt, on Saturday, April 4th at the Sanibel Ballfields adjacent to The Sanibel School. A beloved community tradition continues to grow, with nearly 1,000 attendees last year and even greater participation anticipated this April. The event promises a morning filled with family-friendly fun, age-grouped egg hunts, and interactive experiences for children of all ages.

New this year, families can enjoy a Butterfly Garden Experience, age inclusive bounce houses, and additional entertainment throughout the event. These exciting additions will complement the popular egg hunt fields and hands-on activities that make this celebration a favorite among Sanibel families. Returning again will be the Spring Bonnet/Cap Contest as well!

A limited variety of partnership opportunities are available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting this growing community event. In addition to featured partnerships, local businesses are encouraged to host a table during the event, offering engaging activities, crafts, or games. Hosting a table provides a wonderful opportunity to connect directly with families, showcase your organization, and contribute to a memorable day for the community.
