Community Passover Seder

Friday, April 3rd 5-8:30pm

First Unitarian Universalist Center, 1187 Franklin St, SF

Join Or Shalom for our Third Night Community Passover Seder, this year falling on Shabbat! Through song, movement, storytelling, games and ritualized eating, we not only retell, but relive, the movement from subjugation to liberation.

This Seder is family-friendly and has elements intended to engage people of all ages. There will be both separate kids programming and many ways to involve and engage kids throughout the Seder itself.

How to Participate

There is no cost to attend, but we ask that each participant:

  • Register via the button below.
  • Bring a Kosher For Pesach, pescatarian dish that serves 8-10 people for our community potluck. For guidelines on what foods are Kosher For Pesach, please go HERE.
  • If able, sign up to volunteer for setup, cleanup, or providing ritual items HERE.
  • Bring wine and/or grape juice for your household and your own reusable dishware.

The room has a limited capacity, so register early to secure your spot! Registration will close either when the program hits maximum capacity or on Tuesday, March 31st, whichever comes first. Please register as early as possible. All registrants will receive an email reminder on March 31.

In a time of such immense constriction for our country and our world, may this seder serve as a model for change, resistance and liberation.

⚠️ Food Disclaimer: To ensure inclusivity and accommodate dietary needs, all potluck dishes must be accompanied by a full list of ingredients.
