Dear Neighbor,

The applicant has proposed demolishing the current 5-story hotel structure and replacing it with a new, 8-story hotel containing 147 keys, 55 parking stalls and ground floor retail. The current structure contains a zoning designation of B1-2, and the applicant is seeking a modification of the underlying zoning to a B1-5 designation. 

The current proposal is a significant reduction from a prior Planned Development approved in 2004 that permitted a 15-story hotel and residential structure on this site.
