OCTOBER 2021

We'll be looking for:

Gently used or new clothing for newborn-12 year olds, especially winter clothing and winter coats.

Cradles to Crayons is also looking for new school supplies, diapers, socks, pajamas and underwear.

Home of the Sparrow’s mission is to partner with women facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures.

Coming this November, GVCO will assist their WINTER WHITE OUT event.

We'll be collecting donations as well as household items such as paper products, cleaning products, personal hygiene and store gift cards.
High School Internships

GVCO has completed their internship search and will be employing 6 GVHS juniors this year. The students will be assisting with GVCO programming and administrative tasks.

It’s a great opportunity for students to learn more about a non-profit entity, give back to the community, build their resumes and make a little money. We wish them all good luck!
Academic Tutoring

All colleges agree that the number one factors in evaluating applicants are grades and academic rigor. Strong performance in the classroom is the best way students can ensure future success.

If you are worried about your student's ability to keep up with the transition to in person instruction, consider contacting us to discuss their academic situation and what Ivy Experience can do to support them. We offer tutoring in all subject areas.

Challenger Gym

GVCO is having a challenge finding the proper space to restarting this program after a year off due to the pandemic.

Wendy Morris has run this wonderful program for GVCO for 12+ years. This year she is teaming up with long time GVCO supporter, Deb McAneney.

GVCO is committed to trying to find a home for this program this fall. More details are coming and will be posted on the GVCO.org website.
