Let's Dive into Pool Talk

Pool Rules & Etiquette Review

All residents and their guests are responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the facilities.

  • Please throw trash in the trash cans provided, or in the blue trash totes on the side of the pool shed if they are full. If the trash cans are full, please take the initiative to empty them into the City trash cans on the side of the pump room - it is super appreciated!
  • Close and tie umbrellas after usage.
  • Return all furniture to its original position.
  • Lay loungers down flat when done with them. This prevents damage from getting blown around in windy conditions.
  •  Pool furniture is not to be put into the actual pool for any reason, as this damages the surface of the pool and also the furniture.
  • Music must be family friendly and volume must be at a respectful level.
  • Put sunscreen on at least 30 minutes before entering the pool to prevent cloudiness in pool.
  • Take all personal belongings home with you.
  • Absolutely no pets are allowed in the pool area (no exceptions)·
  • ·Residents are limited to 4 guests per household when visiting the pool unless given permission for extra guests ahead of time - no exceptions. Those arrangements must be made during business hours.
  • All larger groups must make arrangements to reserve time for a private event. This will not be exclusive use of the pool but will allow additional guest and will include a lease agreement, deposit, and fee. Please contact Lifestyle@thecrossvine.com for available dates and times.
  • Reminder: all holiday weekends are black out dates for private events and are prohibited due to the high volume of attendance during those times.

Why do I have to RSVP for Events?

Here is important information about why you need to RSVP to Lifestyle events at The Crossvine.

If the event is free, why do I have to RSVP?

The Crossvine offers a vast array of events, ranging from our Kids Crafts to our family-friendly events. To ensure we are good stewards of the association's resources, vendor relations, and supplies, we strongly encourage residents to register for the events that require RSVPs. Resident registration is imperative for the continued success of current and future events. Registration allows us to plan efficiently and prepare the supplies needed. In addition, registration helps to keep us within budget and identify areas for improvement on all events.

We thank all who follow courteous RSVP etiquette by responding in the allotted time or cancelling to allow others to attend if space is limited. We are continually finding ways to partner up with new vendors to share amazing events and discounts with residents.

If you have any additional questions or ideas about events, please reach out to your Lifestyle Director, Lorrie Gutierrez at Lifestyle@thecrossvine.com

The Talk of the Town

Community Tool Shed

The Schertz Community Tool Shed gives residents access to tools they otherwise would have gone without. Inside the shed, the community will find a collection of hand and gas power tools that can be used at no cost by residents, businesses, and community groups to clean and improve their properties. Using these tools, folks can do minor home repairs and projects, improving the overall attractiveness of our neighborhood in Schertz. This program offers the opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors, building a sense of community and togetherness.

The community can reserve equipment online by going to Schertz.com/toolshed and creating an account. Equipment is available to borrow by appointment only for use up to 3 days per reservation. Saturday pickup and return hours are offered on the first weekend of each month. Tools can be delivered upon request. Proof of residency is required when borrowing any item.
