What is Camp Rosenbaum?
Camp Rosenbaum is a week-long summer camp, located at Camp Rilea on the Oregon Coast near Warrenton, Oregon. They provide children with fun and positive activities like leather projects, arts and crafts, science, nature walks, time at the beach, and a field trip to either Fort Clatsop or the Maritime Museum. They also have supervised sports, movies, fishing, and horseback riding.
Can my child attend?
Camp Rosenbaum is open to children who live in low-income housing from participating housing authorities and are between 9 and 11 years old. This means your child must have been born between July 26, 2013, and January 1, 2016. There is no cost to attend Camp Rosenbaum, and there is a lot of interest in the camp. Because we can only accept a limited number of children (20), children who have attended Camp Rosenbaum in the past will NOT be accepted. Eligible households should have already received application information in the mail.
What if my child is not eligible, what other camp options are there?
