ASCA's San Miguel Sister City Committee presents its annual

Community Resource Event

Special dance performance at 12 PM by


 Grupo de Cielos de Púrpura y Oro


 Location: Kenmore Middle School

(200 S. Carlin Springs Road * Arlington)



This event is free to attend.



Join the San Miguel Committee and ASCA volunteers at 12 PM to enjoy a special cultural performance by Grupo de Cielos de Púrpura y Oro, showcasing the rich traditions of Salvadoran folklore dance and the graceful artistry of the Cachiporras — a beloved symbol of national pride and cultural expression.


Delicious pupusas and pastelitos will be available for sale.
Bring your family, friends, and appetite for culture and community!

From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Arlington County offices, nonprofit organizations, and community businesses will be on hand to share information, answer questions, 
and offer health resources, including:

The Arlington Sister City Association ("ASCA") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affiliated with Arlington County, Virginia. Established in 1993, ASCA supports and coordinates the activities of Arlington County’s five Sister Cities: Aachen, Germany; Coyoacán, Mexico (emeritus); Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine; Reims, France; and San Miguel, El Salvador.


ASCA works to enhance and promote Arlington’s international profile and to foster productive exchanges through arts and cultural partnerships, business development, educational and professional exchanges, and government relationships.
