IN THE COMMUNITY

We were honored to attend the inaugurations of Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, and NYC Comptroller Mark Levine.

We look forward to working collaboratively with the Mamdani administration to advance equity, opportunity, and a brighter future for all New Yorkers.

This morning, we visited the site of the five-alarm building fire on Findlay Avenue and East 170th Street to assess conditions firsthand and receive updates from our emergency responders.

We are grateful that there were no reported fatalities and that residents were able to get the support they need during this difficult moment.

Thank you to the FDNY, NYPD, EMS, and all city agencies on the ground for their swift, coordinated response and continued work to keep our neighbors safe.

At the Castle Hill YMCA, we joined Project Club Clemente for its Annual Breakfast and Remembrance Ceremony, marking 20 years of service and honoring the extraordinary legacy of Roberto Clemente.

Surrounded by baseball fans proudly wearing Clemente’s iconic No. 21, we were honored to present a proclamation recognizing a life defined not only by athletic greatness, but also by compassion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to humanity.
