Good evening, EBC Sports family.

I am writing to share some information about one of our softball family going through a serious trial right now.

Elijah Allen was in a very serious car accident on Thanksgiving. He was thrown from the car and sustained multiple life threatening injuries.

He has been in ICU since then and has recently been moved to a trauma floor. He is not out of the woods and needs support from our community. That's us.

First, as a special request from me, I am asking that you come by the church building on Sunday. I will have a big poster board with markers in the lobby of church this Sunday from 8am-12:00 noon. Please come by before, in-between, or after services to sign the card. Garry Barnes is planning on hanging it up in his room at the hospital.

If you don't attend our church (or any church) that is ok. You can still stop by between 8-12:00 on Sunday and sign the card. I sure would appreciate it if you could come by.

Second, we are asking that you take a moment and pray specifically for a few things:

• Prayer for the staff who is working with Elijah
• Prayer for Mike and Noel Allen (parents) and Isaiah, Elijah's brother
• Prayer that their finances are supplied and supported by our community
• Prayer for a full and complete recovery for Elijah. We want to see him on the softball field in 2023!
