Dear Neighbors,
Part of living the Windler Way means looking out for one another and staying informed. We wanted to let you know that an Xcel gas line was recently damaged at the intersection of 53rd and Fultondale.
Xcel Energy and the City of Aurora Fire Department are already on-site and working hard on the repairs. To keep everyone safe, the gas has been turned off in that specific area while they work.
A Few Quick Safety Reminders
- Give the Crews Space: Please try to avoid that intersection for now so the teams can work quickly and safely.
- If You Smell Gas: If you are at home and notice a "rotten egg" smell, please leave the house immediately. Call 911 and contact Xcel Energy at 800-895-2999.
