Good Afternoon: I wanted to update the community on a few items: The front fountain is working. The smaller fountains needed some repairs but the contractor hopes to have them working again by next Wednesday. We are currently working with a vendor to get a coffee vending machine in the library area, as well as a soda machine in the outdoor pool area. Currently obtaining bids for the outdoor shower. This was turned off turning COVID and once it was turned back on over the Memorial Day holiday, the sensor burned out. The first Meet the Candidates event will be held next Wednesday, June 30th from 3:30-5:30 pm. This will be followed by Zoom meetings and one other (yet-to-be-determined) chance to speak to the candidates before placing your vote. We are scheduled to have the ballots go out on July 19th and returned no later than August 13th. The Special Meeting for transition is scheduled for August 18th. These dates are subject to change but the community will be notified, should that occur. Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day to submit your application. All applications must be in by the end of business day (5:30 PM) Friday, June 25, 2021 Freeze-damaged plant replacement will start in the next few months, beginning with the Lakehouse and surrounding amenities and then working out into the neighborhood monuments. In the fall, painting of the pool fencing will be placed on the schedule as well as power-washing and restriping of the parking lot. We are also seeking bids to build a cover over the pool equipment to protect it from the elements. A reminder that the lake mustache is mowed once a month from March through October. Due to the wet weather we have had, the mowing for June will occur next week, weather permitting. It has been my pleasure to be a part of Sweetgrass for the past two and a half years. It is bittersweet for me as I move on to the next adventure since I have established some great relationships with many of the residents. I have to thank my amazing team for all the help and support along the way. I could not have made this trip without them. They are my extended family and I will always have their back - near and far. I wish nothing but great success for Sweetgrass, its residents, and the team.
