Broomfield Spring Cleanup

Dispose of large, non-hazardous items trash haulers do not normally pick up during this year’s Spring Cleanup! Spring Cleanup will begin on April 19 and is available to Broomfield residents at no charge. Spring Cleanup will occur on the following schedule for 2025:

  • Area 1: Saturday, April 19
  • Area 2: Saturday, April 26
  • Area 3: Saturday, May 3
  • Area 4: Saturday, May 10

To reduce the amount of waste going to a landfill, ARC Thrift Store will pick up reusable items on the same day as the waste pick-up. Label these items “ARC” and place in them a visible location. Review the Broomfield Recycling Guide to find additional ways you can limit landfill waste.

Basics of Recycling

Recycling just got easier in Broomfield! The residential waste program provides affordable recycling for residents who aren’t in HOAs or who live in smaller buildings with seven or fewer units. Service starts this week! Not sure where to start? Focus on these four materials:

  • Aluminum and steel cans
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Flattened cardboard
  • Plastic bottles and containers (#1 and #2 only)

And remember, not everything belongs in the bin! Keep out plastic bags, food and liquids. Recycling the right way helps save money and protect the environment.
