Spring Cleanup for Area 1

Spring Cleanup for Area 1 is this Saturday, April 19! During Spring Cleanup, Broomfield residents can dispose of large, non-hazardous items trash haulers do not normally pick up at NO CHARGE! Place items on the curb no earlier than 24 hours before your cleanup date. To reduce the amount of waste going to a landfill, ARC Thrift Store will pick up reusable items on the same day as the waste pick-up. Label these items “ARC” and place in them a visible location. Identify your area, view the list of acceptable items and learn more about properly disposing of household waste at Broomfield.org/SpringCleanup.

Earlier this year, the Paul Derda Recreation Center and the Broomfield Community Center were awarded a 2024 Our Broomfield Favorites Award. Because the recreation centers are so beloved among Broomfield residents, it is fitting that Broomfield Recreation marked its fifth year in a row of winning under the sports and recreation category. Thank you to the faculty and staff that help make these recreation centers a magical place for everyone to enjoy.
