ST. JOHN VIANNEY PARISH
Community Update
for Sunday October 11 2020
PASTOR'S NOTE
A big thank you to you all on the occasion of the installation of your 14th pastor. The comments I have received from all the volunteers, participants, priest concelebrants, my parents, friends and guests was that St. John Vianney is a blessed community. The impression people left with last Sunday was God's grace and peace. From Bishop Cantú to the friends sitting on the lawn by the rectory to the confirmandi and their parents, 6PM on the Feast of St Francis of Assisi was a reverent, joyful and peaceful moment of grace that is so welcome in this time. Congratulations to you all for the many hours of preparation, for the joyful presence and devoted prayers. As I mentioned in the homily, let's build like Francis did--with joy, with humility and with faith. For those of you who would like to watch this moment of grace for our community, click here.

In honor of St Francis, we will have our annual animal blessing tomorrow. Read on for some major news on moving indoors.

St John Marie Vianney, pray for us!

Peace,

Fr. Joe
