ST. JOHN VIANNEY PARISH
Community Update
for Sunday June 19, 2022
Happy Father’s Day to you all! Thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers and godfathers who have for 70 years built up our faith. Thank you to Father John who we will say goodbye to on June 25 after the 5PM Mass. We are thankful for his fatherly care in his reverence to God, to the sacred mysteries of our faith, his humor and relatability with our youth, and making sure we are all connected in person and on the Vianney Show. Come wish Father John well next Saturday June 25 at the 5PM Mass with a reception afterwards.

So many of our fathers (priests and dads) have helped build up this parish and school. You may have noticed that construction has started in the school. We thank Mr. John Shea, a devoted Catholic father and real estate developer from Southern California, who believes in our mission at Saint John Vianney Parish and School of forming joyful disciples. You will be receiving a letter to see how feasible some aspects of our building up this parish and school are for the next generation.

This weekend is the Solemnity Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ (Corpus Christi). Read on for a special Mass and Procession to kick off the Eucharistic Revival of our whole Church in the United States.

St John Vianney, pray for us!

Peace,

Fr Joe
