I already have an Alarm.com mobile app for my home, how does this work?
  • Existing Alarm.com users credentialing will appear either in the wallet function of the app (depending on your system). Some existing Alarm.com users will need to be sent a credential via text message, not email. However, this has yet to be consistent for each user. Please reach out to the Association team if you need assistance at InspirationTx@ccmcnet.com.
My invitation link expired?
  • Reach out to your Association team, and we can resend you an invite; the link expires after a period of time for security measures. 
My spouse needs an invitation link, and/or children, what do I do?
  • Reach out to your Association team, and we can send additional links. The system only sent an invite to the first email address for each lot file.
Do I need a login for Alarm.com?
  • No, no login information is needed for our system. The access card will appear at the top of the screen.
Why did we change systems, this is a lot more work?
  • The Board of Directors voted to update our access card system to continue to enhance the security at Inspiration. We had users with access cards who no longer lived within Inspiration; this is also a cost savings measure, as we no longer need to purchase additional access cards.
I never received my mobile credentialing email, and completed the waivers?
  • Please be sure to check your spam folder, the email will be sent from SentrySecurity. If you still do not have it, please reach out to your Association team and we can resend a link.
I clicked on the invitation link, but do not see an access card on my screen?
  • Please hard close your Alarm.com app and reload the app.
How do I use my digital access card? Does the app need to be loaded?
  • The app needs to be running in the background; you can put your phone near the access card reader for three to five seconds, for the access card reader will turn green, and the door will unlock.
I was able to load the digital access card, but I immediately went to the access card reader and it is not working?
  • Our system is running on a cloud-based system and takes no more than five minutes to update. We ask that you wait approx. five minutes before using your card for the first time. In addition, it is helpful to turn on and off your Bluetooth on your mobile device and then re-try using your mobile device.
