FIBER ARTS GROUP  FRIDAYS 1 - 4 pm

ARTS AND CRAFTS ROOM

The Fiber Arts Club meets every Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room in the clubhouse. We are currently knitting and crocheting winter items to be donated to the Bridgeville Food Pantry and the local schools for children in need. (Last year 60 hats were given to cold children.) To date, there are 29 hats, 1 scarf, 6 pairs of mittens and 19 sets that are a combination of hats, scarves and mittens.

Previously, lap blankets and wheelchair shawls were donated to the TidalHealth Health Care System for use in their nursing facilities. They are no longer in need of this donation. We are planning to donate 12 completed blankets to veterans at the Home of the Brave in Milford.

This club's purpose is not to solely make items for donation. We work on our own personal projects, often sharing ideas and tips. This friendly group welcomes anyone who knits, crochets, does cross-stitch, needlepoint or any other projects involving fiber.

If you have questions, please contact Karen Campbell at karencampbell611@gmail.com.

Wellness & Fitness

Equipment Update:

The r10 cycle and 90 R cycle have switched location in the gym. The r10 cycle was relocated to the weight room area of the gym to enhance the users experience and accommodate electrical access. The 90 R cycle has been relocated next to the NuStep machine as it does not require electrical access. We ask that the equipment not be moved around as it can cause damage.

The u10 cycle lower console replacement was shipped incorrectly. This includes the right thumb control button. The cycle is safe for use with limited program functions. The left thumb control is working properly to start, pause and stop the machine.

The Resident Community Calendar is live. Please reach out to the HOA office if assistance is needed.

Click the link below to view. Fitness schedule is included!

The equipment is for use by members while working out in the facility. Please return equipment to its original storage space when not in use.

Additionally, personal items may not be stored at the gym or in the aerobic room. Personal items left in those spaces will be considered community property and available for use by all.

Fitness equipment orientation is offered monthly to new members of the community. Registration is required within the first year of becoming a community member.
