Dear Friends of Women & Family Life Center,

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating incredible leadership at the 2025 SHEro Breakfast & Award Ceremony! On Saturday, May 17th, we recognized all the inspiring SHEro award winners for their dedication and impact in our community. It was wonderful to share this special morning with Liza Petra from The Guilford Foundation and Karen Dubois-Walton from The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. Just a quick update: our Spring Appeal is now live! Please consider donating any time before June 30th to the Women & Family Life Center so that we may continue to provide crucial safety net support for individuals and families in our community. Donate online today !

The Guilford Foundation

The Guilford Foundation grants allowed the Women & Family Life Center (W&FLC) to offer its free Guided Assistance Program (GAP) to over 135 Guilford residents facing difficult life challenges. The program provides personalized support and referrals, making a significant positive impact, as one participant described feeling embraced by the Guilford community. This success reflects the dedication of the W&FLC team and the generosity of their supporters in helping individuals and families build stronger futures.

Meet Stephanie! One of our incredible Achieve Career Program Facilitator! Stephanie is an HR professional, but she is also self-made entrepreneur and founder of a resume writing company, empowering others to advance their careers. Stephanie is an advocate for women and all families at local non-profits.
