Dear Friends,

Please take a moment to watch our Weekly Huddle video in preparation for our study on Mark 10:1-31 this Sunday. And I hope you are enjoying our new monthly memory verse and working on memorizing it with your family or with a friend. January's verse is Isaiah 40:31 (see below).

I want to be sure you know about two special things. First, don't miss the Evening on Mars Hill this Friday, January 20, at 7pm in the Chapel in honor of National Sanctity of Human Life Weekend. Guest speaker Myron Steeves will present legal updates and advocacy strategies for life followed by a time for Q&A.

Second, I'm leading a special prayer time for men coming up on Monday, January 23, at 8pm in the Chapel. This is for ALL men - fathers, grandfathers, sons, brothers. Let's gather together and pray.

Band of Brothers

C.S. Lewis wrote our slogan, "To love men not because they are in any way naturally agreeable to us but because they are our Brothers." Band of Brothers invites men to join in group prayer, a meal, worship, a testimony and individual prayer in small groups. It is not a Bible study as the emphasis is on the testimony and prayer. Every meeting is different and each one is a blessing.
