National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Please join us along with your local Community Partners, Linz at the Station, Cold Stone Creamery and Polaris Dentistry, for The Station's 1st Annual National Night Out Block Party. Special appearance from The City of Sachse First Responders such as the fire and police departments. We will have a bounce house, food truck and free giveaways. Additional desserts for purchase by Doozy Bakery. 

The first 50 guest to visit the Welcome Table will get one ticket for a free scoop of chocolate, strawberry or vanilla ice cream from Cold Stone.

Did you know Commons Park is a city park?? 

While the association does maintain Commons Park, it is owned by the City of Sachse. 

All events such as parties must be registered through the Parks and Recreation department.  The attached park ordinance provides the guidelines of what is allowed at city parks.  The following items are prohibited, just to name a few:

• No consumption of alcohol
• No gambling
• No smoking or use of tobacco

Big Tex welcomes you to The Texas State Fair opening on September 30.  The state fair will run till October 23.

Saturday October 15, 2022 from 6 pm to 9 pm, the City of Sachse will be hosting their Annual Pumpkin Prowl.

Picture and old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt...Now add some autumn colors and cooler weather...Finally, erase the eggs and insert mini-pumpkins. The Great Pumpkin is coming again to hide bright, orange pumpkins. Kids will go find them and some may even win a prize. There will be hayrides, and bounce houses. There will also be a Halloween costume contest where costumes will be judged and prizes will be awarded to the winners prior to the Pumpkin Hunt. The movie will begin when the sun goes down so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and watch the Addams Family 2. The Sachse Baseball Association will be selling concessions throughout the event and the Sachse High School Theater group will entertain everyone along the "Haunted Hayride." 

6:00 PM to Sunset - Haunted Hayrides, Bounce Houses, Games, Prizes

6:20 PM - Pumpkin Hunt and Costume Contest Winners Announced
