is accepting grant applications from organizations in Woodbury, Plymouth, Dakota & Union counties that have seen an increased need and have provided direct community response due to
COVID-19.

The Dakota County Health Department
is doing COVID testing on June 12th and 13th from 8am to Noon
for residents and employees of Dakota County, NE
at the Dakota City Fire Hall 208 S. 21st Street. Before testing you must register online at

LaunchPAD Children’s Museum
will reopen on July 1. Guests should visit their website to reserve a time slot in advance of their visit. A maximum of 50 guests will be allowed in the museum at one time. Support for low income families is available through their sponsored membership program by contacting the museum. LaunchPAD’s in-person camps will begin on July 6

Summer Concert Season will begin Sunday, June 21 at the bandshell in Grandview Park (24th St and Grandview Ave) at 7:30pm.

partnered with ed2go, a division of Cengage Learning, to offer 10 free, self-paced courses
for personal or professional development. Classes do not apply to a credit degree or program and are available until June 30.

Sioux City Public Library will begin offering contactless curbside pickup at their Perry Creek Branch on June 15. They are working toward opening other locations in the near future.

Girls Inc. of Sioux City
is serving FREE Grab 'n Go dinners from 4:30-5:30pm Monday-Friday for children 18 and under and their caregivers.

The Sioux City Community School District is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 3, 2020, through Aug 14, 2020 (closed Jul 3). Meals are available Monday – Friday for all children ages 1-18 years without charge. Each child present will receive a breakfast sack and a lunch sack to be taken off-site for consumption.

South Sioux City Community Schools, in partnership with Lunchtime Solutions, Inc., will be serving free meals to youth in the community age 18 and under during the month of June 2020. Please come to Covington Elementary on Tuesdays & Fridays from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM to pick up your meals.
