The Lake Providence Swim Club will be holding a learn to swim clinic in May. The clinic will follow the recommendations of the US Masters program, and be held at the indoor pool. The Providence Pipes, a group of eight recorder players, will provide a selection of Summer Classics - music from the Renaissance to the present day for your listening pleasure. Lake Concert - Joe West Band

Come enjoy a drink, some delicious food from Roscoe’s Smoked BBQ Food Truck (cash or card), and a lake concert! Singer Songwriter Joe West is the son of Sarge and Shirley West, the first and only African American Country and Western Duo. Raised on a healthy diet of traditional country music, rock, folk, blues, and jazz, his music is a cross between Kenny Rogers, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, and Merle Haggard. Joe's music is a recipe for sheer enjoyment. Joe is the house band for The Nashville International Airport and a warm welcome to thousands who visit and call Nashville home. He has had multiple performances at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe, private events at the home of the legendary Naomi Judd, and other exclusive venues including The George Jones Roof Top, Ole Red, The City Winery and the world-famous Tootsie's. He has opened for The Wooten Brothers, and been a finalist on the Charlie Daniels Round-Up. Band and Bar are sponsored by SageGuard Financial.
