COMMUNITY UPDATES
From the Desk of the Executive Director
Happy Monday!

The Board of Directors has approved the reopening of the Prairie Lodge on Monday, June 15th, during the hours of 9am-5pm (Monday - Friday). The Sun City Huntley by Del Webb [COVID] Re-Opening Guidelines will be distributed [via USPS] to every household. Although outdoor areas are available for enjoyment, please be reminded that according to the Restore IL plan, outdoor recreation is limited to groups of 10 or less. Residents are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer and use washrooms to regularly wash hands during visits to any of the amenities.

Parking spaces were added to Sun City Boulevard last month and it may have caused a bit of confusion for drivers who were uncertain if the road remained two lanes of through traffic. I requested information from the Village of Huntley regarding the boulevard parking and I was provided the attached information . From which, please note, “The ordinance also modifies the westbound traffic lanes on Sun City Boulevard between Del Webb Boulevard and Crestview Drive by reducing from two lanes to one lane of through traffic to accommodate on-street parking…”
Be well and stay strong…we are one day closer to the other side.
