COMMUNITY UPDATES
Happy Wednesday:

Happy April Fools Day! I hope you have fun with a good-natured prank today. My youngest daughter (age 20) loves to play pranks on this day. She has used scotch tape on the side-sprayer at the kitchen sink. When I turn on the sink…Blast! Water all over me. The best was probably sewing the leg closed on a pair of pajama pants…her grandmother helped her with that one.

One of my favorites jokes to play on my kids is to hide something of importance…like their CELL PHONE!! The girls are like a hunting dog searching for a little furry friend when they can’t find their phone! Bubble wrap under a rug can get a giggle from anyone, but a good one for the guys is a little scotch tape on the end of the remote, which will render it useless. I bet someone will try to change the batteries…We all know how attached most men are to the TV remote! Sorry guys!

Let’s have a little community fun…please visit the Del Webb Sun City Huntley Faceboo k page and share your favorite good-hearted prank! I hope to have a funny story or picture to share too.

Until next time…remember you are not alone. Our greatest strength is our sense of community and willingness to help each other. My staff and I will continue to answer phones and are reaching out to members with phone calls. The Neighborhood Committee Members and Block Captains are doing an amazing job connecting with their areas. To stay informed with accurate information, visit any of the following:

If you or someone you know is feeling overwhelmed and anxious due to the magnitude of this situation, please share the NM Behavioral Crisis Services for McHenry County 24/7 Hotline: 800-892-8900. Once again, many thanks to healthcare workers and responders putting themselves at risk every day. Our support and admiration is immense.

Be well and stay strong!
