Community News
Welcome to July!
It is starting to heat up. We have seen some unexpected weather this year from the freeze in February to the copious amounts of rain. We hope that everyone is staying safe and enjoying the summer. Below are some friendly reminders and updates regarding the Community.

Glass Containers: Glass containers of any kind are not permitted inside the pool gate. You may remember in 2020, the pool was closed for several days due to broken glass. The pool had to be drained, cleaned and refilled. That is a timely and costly event that can be avoided. For everyone's safety, leave the glass at home.

Pool Cards: The Management team is aware of some pool cards not working. The gate system has been tested and we discovered some cards are bad. We are able to exchange non-working cards; however, lost, damaged, or stolen cards can be replaced for a small $10.00 fee. If you are having trouble with your pool cards please contact the Community Manager for further information.

Irrigation: The landscape team was on site this week testing the system. A report of water running for an extended period of time was reported Wednesday evening. The irrigation technician returned to the property at 10:45 PM to find no issues. they have also cleared the detention ponds of silt and installed an additional drain in Blue Stem Park to resolve the drainage issue there.

Architectural Review: Thank you to all who have submitted ARC Applications. Please remember if you are planning any exterior change you must have approval from the Association before beginning any work.
Improvements such as: Landscape borders, basketball goals (portal or in ground), gates/fencing, shed, patio cover and swimming pools are some examples of items that require approval.
Elections Update
Candidate Information can be found on the Prairie View resident website.

The Board member vote will be conduced electronically using a third-party representative. This is a safe and efficient method to increase participation while saving both time and money. Each property with an email on file will receive an email invitation to vote from the community voting site. Please be sure to add this email address (prairieview@ivotehoa.com) to your safe sender list/address book so you can participate in the vote.

If we do not have your email address on file or you do not receive the email by July 21, you can still vote online. Please contact the office at 469-246-3507 or go to the web address listed below and click Contact Us to get your code.
Voting online is easy and quick! You will have three steps!
  1. Receive the email and click the link to go to the voting site (or go to the voting site and enter your code)
  2. Register for the vote by entering your name, email, and creating a password
  3. Make your choices on the ballot and submit

When your vote is complete, you will receive both an onscreen confirmation and an email that the vote has been recorded. The entire process takes only a few minutes - less time than it did to read these instructions!
