Youth Homelessness

In 2025, according to the Food Bank, a total of 62 youth between the ages of zero and 17 experienced homelessness.

An additional 22 young adults aged 18 to 24 were identified as experiencing homelessness during the same period.

These numbers highlight the significant presence of minors and young adults within the local homeless population and underscore the need for targeted supports and prevention strategies for vulnerable young people.

Light up the Night

Join us for a truly special evening of music, connection, and community in support of the St. Albert Sturgeon Hospice Association (SASHA). This fundraising concert is more than a performance; it is a shared moment of reflection, compassion, and gratitude for the care that carries individuals and families through every stage of a palliative journey.

Performances by So Noted Singers, Harmonia, Wellstrings Harp Ensemble, and APAM Cultural Consult, presented by the Africans and African Descendants Friendship Club (AADFC). These gifted musicians are coming together in a rare and meaningful collaboration, creating a rich, moving program that celebrates life, memory, and cultural connection through music.

All proceeds from the concert directly support SASHA’s hospice and community palliative programs, helping ensure that no one faces life’s final journey alone.
