Two New Workforce Collaboratives on the Rise

The Foundation is launching two new employer-led workforce collaboratives in Advanced Manufacturing and IT. Building on the success of existing workforce collaboratives, the Foundation is bringing together companies to identify talent shortages and better align educational training with necessary job skills. Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation Launches Apprenti Arizona 

Apprenti is an innovative registered apprenticeship program that offers employers a new approach to fill and diversify their talent pipelines to meet the demand for key positions, including software developers, IT business analysts, cybersecurity analysts, and more. Using Apprenti’s proprietary screening process, employers receive a quicker path to diverse, qualified, and certified tech talent. This program offers a unique opportunity to reskill, upskill, and retain highly skilled employees.

Coming together to get Every Student Connected 

The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the already vast digital divide for Arizona’s students, where over 100,000 students need devices and 200,000 students lack reliable internet. The Foundation has distributed over 1,000 laptop donations since March 2020, and while local efforts are underway to address this issue, it’s clear that there’s still more to be done.
