Community invited to Workhorse Aerospace UAS Demonstration November 9 in Williston
News Release - Williston Economic Development has announced the community is invited to a Workhorse Aerospace demonstration on Tuesday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the former Sloulin Field International Airport hangar. TrainND Northwest and Vantis will also participate. “We are very excited to visit the week of November 8th to further explore flight testing opportunities and to demonstrate the HorseFly,” said Mike Gerdes, Manager of Regulatory Compliance of Workhorse Aerospace. “Our demonstrations for the week will be very local in nature, showing the capabilities of the Horsefly to deliver various packages, dropping them at a nearby location and returning to the launch point.” Read More

Hoeven visits WBI Pipeline Construction Site
Williston Herald - Sen. John Hoeven dropped in on the construction progress for WBI Energy’s North Bakken Expansion pipeline, which has been underway since July. The pipeline will transport up to 250 million cubic feet per day of natural gas from the Bakken. It’s a $260 million project that includes 63 miles of 24-inch pipeline and 30 miles of 12-inch, along with a compressor station and associated infrastructure. Read More

Williston Economic Development - November 8th's Mini Match Monday business will be Caffeinated. Owner Precious Roness will explain how she started and expanded her business in Williston. Roness will also discuss how the Williston STAR Fund's Mini Match program helped her complete her buildout at the Badlands Town Center. Pediatric Clinic celebrates Grand Opening
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee held a ribbon cutting on Friday, October 29 at the new CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Pediatric Clinic. The clinic is located in the lower level of CHI. Patients can use Door 8 to access the steps or elevator to the basement.

Ribbon Cutting held at The Cocktail Room
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee held a ribbon cutting on Friday, October 29 at The Cocktail Lounge in Downtown Williston. The new lounge is located next to Slater's at 7 Main Street.

Williston Economic Development - Two Williston area businesses presented at 1 Million Cups Williston on Wednesday, November 3 at the Smiling Moose Deli. Erika McDiamid of Rise Oilfield and Industrial Safety and Ryan Seigfried of Pizza Pie on the Fly, discussed details about their businesses. To watch the videos visit the 1 Million Cups Facebook page. Delvo named WSC Director of Marketing
News Release - Williston State College is pleased to announce that Brandon Delvo has been named Director of Marketing. Delvo holds an Associate Degree from Williston State College and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Jamestown. His work experiences include North Dakota Farmer’s Union. Williams County Highway Department, Department of Homeland Security, and 11 years total service in the National Guard/ Reserve. Read More

Lordemann resigns as Williston Chamber President
News Release - Williston Area Chamber of Commerce President, Rachel Richter Lordemann, has announced that she will be leaving the Chamber, effective November 12th, 2021. Richter Lordemann has served in the role since April of 2019 and has been a Chamber employee since 2017. She will be relocating to work for the City of West Fargo, ND as a member of their Communications Department. Read More
