The City of Williston invites the public to a special announcement on Tuesday, March 2 regarding Williston Square. The announcement will be held at 2 p.m. in the hangar at the former Sloulin Field International Airport. Masks are required.

Community invited to Williston Square
Announcement March 2

Williston Economic Development - The community is invited to an announcement on Tuesday, March 2 at 2 p.m. to learn about a new project at Williston Square. The press conference will be held in the hangar at the former Sloulin Field International Airport at 408 Airport Road. The announcement will be broadcast live on KEYZ 660 radio and live streamed on the Williston Economic Development Facebook page (@willistoneconomicdevelopment) and shared to the City of Williston Facebook page (@cityofwilliston).
Skydio shows How Drones Aid First Responders

Williston Economic Development - A company that manufactures drones for first responders was in Williston on February 24. Skydio showed public safety officials how their drones can assist them with their missions.
Vantis Network holds Meetings
in Williston, Watford City

Williston Herald - Williston Economic Development and TrainND welcomed Northern Plains UAS Test Site to talk about the Vantis Network, and what it means for the state's future. Vantis is the nation’s first statewide Unmanned Aircraft Systems beyond-visual-line-of-sight network. North Dakota approved $28 million for the creation of the network, in hopes to to make the state enticing to UAS business and innovation. Read More
New Owners purchase Williston, Bismarck
Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Bismarck Tribune - A local company is buying the medical marijuana dispensary in Bismarck from the out-of-state company that opened it 1 ½ years ago. Pure Dakota Health on Monday announced its acquisition of Arizona-based Harvest Inc.'s dispensaries in Bismarck and Williston. 2021 Leadership Williston Program begins

Williston Herald - Leadership Williston kicked off its 2021 program this week, bringing in a new group of future leaders and entrepreneurs from the community. Meeting at the NDSU Research Extension Center, the 13 participants spent the introductory day going over the basics of the program, as well as planting the seeds of their community project, perhaps the most well-known aspect of the Leadership Williston program.
