Annual Community Meeting
Provides Insight and Ideas
"Moving Forward Together" was the theme of the January 27, 2022 TEAM Annual Community meeting, hosted at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. After an overview of ongoing projects and events by Nancy Johnson, Dr. Melissa Reichert, Punta Gorda Assistant City Manager, moderated presentations from Dave Gammon and Greg Murray (pictured right). Joan LeBeau, Punta Gorda Urban Design Director, encouraged attendees to stay involved in the process of implementing the updated master plan.

Our Community Works to be Bicycle Friendly
Punta Gorda is different. In addition to the young families who live here, it includes many healthy aging seniors adding years to their life by staying active. As you move around our streets, you’ll find bicycling is a big part of a healthy lifestyle for many. TEAM Punta Gorda has long advocated for improving conditions that would make Punta Gorda and the surrounding areas of Charlotte County a bicycle friendly community. It has not been easy.
