Costume alterations available at CS tomorrow night!

NOTES FROM KRISTEN!
Hi Company Families!
Hooray! The Company Lock In is THIS Saturday! Please be sure to read the block below for information on when you need to arrive and what you need to bring and wear for a successful evening! Due to the Lock In, we will not be having rehearsals this Sunday-
however, there is a Production Rehearsal on Saturday from 4-5:30pm prior to the lock in for ALL production dancers
Also, if you need alterations on a group costume, our seamstress will be at the studio tomorrow night starting at 6pm. Please read more details in the bullets below!
Here are some IMPORTANT notes/reminders!
- The Company Showcase is scheduled for February 19th at Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia. This is a required event for all dancers- mark your calendars!
- Alterations! Our seamstress will be at the studio tomorrow night, Thursday, February 2nd, starting at 6pm. If a dancer has a group costume that needs an alteration, this will be the time to get it taken care of courtesy of Center Stage. Also, Company Tap 3 girls need to stop in and be measured by her for their costume. (I know many Company Jazz 1 girls need their costume altered!)
- Alterations for solo/duet/trio costumes will also be available at the same time tomorrow night, however, they are not free of charge. The seamstress will charge a minimum of $10 for any alteration, and will determine the total cost based on the alteration needed. Payments should be made directly to her via cash or check!
- There are two possible fundraisers we are looking at for February. Please fill out the survey below to let the CS Booster Club know which you would prefer!
- Don't forget about our CS Trivia Night Fundraiser coming up on March 3rd! Please see the block below for information on how to participate or attend!
- A list of required shoes for each routine is in progress and available on the Company webpage- scroll to the bottom of the page and click under the heading Shoes and Tights! All Shoes MUST be ordered through the front desk (with the exception of upper level tap shoes) no later than February 14th! A complete list of all shoes will be available by next Wednesday, February 8th. Click here to view the current list now!
- Information about Company Make-Up is now available to view on the Company Webpage! For everyone's convenience, we have kept the required make-up the same as last year! There are also links to videos on our CS youtube channel showing how to apply the make-up!
- No Sunday Rehearsals this week!

The Center Stage Booster Club is looking at two different possibilities for a February Fundraiser!
Giving Bean Coffee
(includes coffees, teas, cocoa, k-cups & chai tea)
OR
Yankee Candles
(
includes candles, a few candle accessories, select assortment of popcorn and gift wrap & flower seeds)
Dancers receive 40% of their sales from either of the above fundraisers!

COMPANY LOCK IN DETAILS- FEB 4

Who:
ALL Company Dancers!
Bring: A
snack to share! Pizza & drinks will be provided.
End time:
-10:30pm for dancers NOT spending the night
-By 8:00am Sunday morning for dancers in 4th grade & Up
Production (all involved) will practice from 4-5:30pm that day!
The lock-in is a fun opportunity for our team to bond outside of our regular classes! We will have pizza and snacks, play games, perform our dances for each other, etc...
All Company and Pre-Company dancers are required to attend.
Dancers in 4th grade and up will spend the night! Dancers not spending the night will leave at 10:30pm!

Q: What is the Company Showcase?
A:
The Company Showcase is a chance for Company and Pre-Company group routines to perform on stage prior to their first competition.
This gives the dancers a chance to fully practice their entrances and exits through the wings and gives the teachers a chance to see the choreography from the judges' perspective.
Please Note! This is a required event for ALL dancers! It will be held at Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia- please plan accordingly!

First: Download Team App onto your smartphone.

Then follow these steps:
1. Sign-up to Team App.
You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.
2. Log in. Then search for Center Stage Company and request access to the group(s) that apply to you.
For example, everyone should request access to join the All Company group and then all of the group classes/ routines that you/ your dancer are in!
We will use this App to send push notifications to your phone to give everyone immediate need-to-know information- especially during the competition season!
If you don't have a smartphone, reply to this email so you can be added manually and you'll receive email notifications instead of push notifications to your phone.
