NOTES FROM KRISTEN!

Hi Company Families! 

Woohoo! Sunday rehearsals begin this week for most groups! Be sure to check the Sunday Rehearsal schedule below for times and for which groups are NOT starting this Sunday. Also, don't forget that COMPANY HEADSHOTS ARE THIS SUNDAY FOR EVERYONE!  Please read the information below so you know when to be there, what to wear and what to expect!

Here are a few reminders:
  • Contracts are STILL due ASAP including solo/duet/ trio contracts! Please get them turned in ASAP or you will not be able to begin Sunday rehearsals!
  • Sunday rehearsals begin this Sunday, September 11th- see below for exact times & groups.
  • Kari Herman Master Classes! More details and sign up ASAP below!
  • Parent Booster Club! I've had a few more volunteers this week- thank you so much! However, we still need a few more! Fundraising is vital for our company team and without parent volunteers to help organize the fundraisers, we won't be able to make it happen! Please send me an email if you are able to help out!
  • Bring a Friend Week is next week! Invite your friends to join you in class to experience how much fun it is standing Center Stage!

COMPANY HEADSHOTS!
THIS SUNDAY: 12:30-5:30pm!

We will be taking Company (Principal & Corps) and Pre-Company photos this Sunday, September 11th!

We will be taking individual photos of  ALL competition dancers, Corps, Principal & Pre-Company,  so EVERYONE needs to attend! 

  • Please wear your company leotard and have your hair down and fixed nicely! This is a picture representing our awesome 2016/17 Company Team and we want everyone to look polished! Makeup is optional. :)
  • For dancers with rehearsals on Sunday during these times, you'll need to plan on taking your pictures around your rehearsal times! Brandy Warren is taking the pictures and will have a master list of all students who need their picture taken. You can arrive prior to rehearsal (no earlier than 12:30pm), fit the picture in between rehearsals, or stay after your rehearsal!
  • Company & Pre-Company dancers who do not have rehearsal this Sunday can show up any time between 12:30pm and 5:30pm to get their picture taken-HOWEVER, the preferred time for you to show up to avoid long waits would be between 3:30-5:30pm!

Kari will be holding Master Classes for ALL AGES and will be doing Choreography for our Pre-Pro Dancers*! Be sure to SAVE THE DATES for this incredible opportunity and SIGN UP ASAP via the google form below to save your spot! 

Master Classes are OPEN TO EVERYONE, AGES 7 & Up in the studio and entire community! Dancers of all skill levels are welcome!

Two Lyrical/ Contemporary Master Classes: October 1st
Junior Lyrical/ Contemporary (for ages 7-11): 2:00-3:30pm
Senior Lyrical/ Contemporary (for ages 12 & Up): 3:30-5:00pm

PARENTS- WE WANT (and NEED) YOU!

We know we have AWESOME parents and many of you have asked how you can be more involved/ help out with Company, so here's your chance! 

We formally started our Parent Booster Club last season and for now it will be primarily in charge of Company Fundraisers- helping organize them, etc... 

WITHOUT PARENT HELP, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO HAVE FUNDRAISERS!

  • Weekly Company Newsletter via email EVERY Wednesday! Watch for it each week! 
  • We use our Company Team App to send out push notifications as needed! Sign up now for all of your specific groups as well as the ALL COMPANY group! (Instructions Below)

Center Stage Company has their own Smartphone App to keep you informed!  To get the full features of the CS Team App you need to: 

First: Download Team App onto your smartphone.

Download Team App here: 

It's 100% FREE!

Second: Launch Team App.

Then follow these steps:

1. Sign-up to Team App.
 You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.

2. Log in. Then search for Center Stage Company and request access to the group(s) that apply to you.

For example, everyone should request access to join the All Company group and then all of the group classes/ routines that you/ your dancer are in! 

We will use this App to send push notifications to your phone to give everyone immediate need-to-know information- especially during the competition season! 

If you don't have a smartphone, reply to this email so you can be added manually and you'll receive email notifications instead of push notifications to your phone.
