We are so proud of the amount of money raised but this group-$11,000-well done. We also put on a great performance.

Information Confirmation Need to be Updated

Thank you to all that have reached out or completed their section of our Master List. We are still in the process of completing a master list for all travelers for flights and room assignments. IT IS CRITICAL we have all information complete to send to Dance Excellence in order to coordinate arrivals and departures. They are trying to provide shuttles when large groups of students are arriving and knowing those times is imperative. They also give the extra rooms they have reserved for Saturday out on first come first serve with paperwork. We will need those rooms at that discounted rate!

Here is a link to a google sheet and we are asking any traveler with incomplete information to please it look in ASAP and complete All areas in yellow need to be completed.

Dietary Needs
If you have any dietary restrictions or preference for vegetarian, please email Alicia so that can be included in the paperwork that is submitted to Dance Excellence. We need all of these details confirmed by 11/1.

Final Payments
As communicated this summer, the final installment for the trip will be due January 20th. This will include $800 pp plus the portion of the extra night ($175/number in room) as well as the additional fee for rooms with fewer than four people. They have supplied us with those rates below for you planning purposes.

PG Lyrical & SCDC Lyrical Combined: 10/28 4:30-5:30 

JPG Modern: Nov. 4/ 3:30-4:30

JPG Contemp/SCDC Jazz: Nov 4/ 4:30-5:30 (Combined JPG Contemp/SCDC Jazz)

We are happy to be participating in both the Hampton and Portsmouth Holiday Parades on December 4th.

Typically the Hampton Parade begins at 1pm & Portsmouth at 6pm. We will confirm exact drop off times and locations when we know more. Please plan to pick up at Citizens Bank in Hampton as well as Portsmouth at the conclusion of the parade.

Students will be dress warmly with outer layer being their SCDC pants and jacket. NHAPA will provide the hats and canes. You will also need:
  • a white turtle neck
  • white, red or green gloves
  • portable white lights operated by battery for the night parade

We have several students that haven't been a part of this event and will need to learn the march choreography. Our tri-captains will popping into the beginning of a Jumps & Turns Tuesday class in November to teach that choreography- Exact date is TBD.

Does any company parent have a truck with an open bed that would be willing to drive in front of the dancers through the parade route? If so, please email Alicia (

Housekeeping Note:

PLEASE convey to all dancers that they should dump all liquids and ice in sink before disposing of it in the trash cans around the studio. Makes for a BIG mess otherwise. Thank you for your cooperation as this has been an on-going issue.
