Flare Selection for the Chemical Process Industries

The proper selection of flare equipment has the potential to result in optimized capital and operational costs while maintaining compliance with stringent environmental requirements. The improper application of a flare technology can lead not only to poor performance but to negative environmental impacts as well.

There are essentially two types of flares which can be used for VOC control: an elevated, open-flame (known as a candlestick flare), and an enclosed flare.

Specialty Printing & Sustainability

Ship & Shore Environmental (S&SE) is a supplier of VOC abatement equipment for the printing industry with complete engineering, design, fabrication, and maintenance capabilities. Thermal Oxidizers are add-on abatement controls that mitigate coating emissions in a cost-effective way.
