On Sunday, June 24, 2018, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati was among 79 faith and community partners celebrating Greater Cincinnati’s diverse landscape of faith and culture. The festival welcomed over 1,600 attendees and represented over 23 faith groups, among them 12 world cultures.
In keeping with the festival’s theme of “Compassion through Action,” Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati participated as one of two non-profit organizations showcasing our building ministry; engaging event attendees in an interactive activity and subsequent community service project.
Through the Festival of Faiths platform, Habitat was able to reach and engage a new audience in our mission, and to inspire those in attendance to serve their community in a meaningful and impactful way. This partnership is also paving the way for our interfaith brothers and sisters to join us at a Habitat Cincinnati build through a series of Trialogue/Interfaith Build dates.
We look forward to continuing to build bridges with our fellow faith partners, and in serving more families in the Tri-state area!
