Greetings!
May Gods richest blessings be with you all
As all who know me, the WAPI project has been heaven-sent. Since its  inception in 2009 , this project has opened my eyes to Gods mighty hand at work. Who would have known that our project would still be providing so many wonderful devices (70,000)  for better living for so many families worldwide.

It may be difficult for some to understand how we can keep manufacturing the WAPI with no financial backing to speak of. However, our motive is not financial, but rather humanitarian. The Lord provides.

I have been blessed in so many wonderful ways to see and work with so many compassionate people with just one concern, helping others in need. We have such dedicated people from our raw product suppliers who sacrifice profit for love, and our devoted volunteers who give of their time to assemble the devices. The smiles in their hearts are my reward.

From our oldest volunteer (Otto  Bambach)  97 years old, to our youngest (nine years old) who come from all over the United States to add their effort to help. One of our youngest volunteers said, “We are saving lives. I've never done that.” who could ask for more.

This is very touching to me and keeps me moving forward. Money cannot buy this kind of loving energy. Watching the compassion in folk’s hearts reminds me that love does prevail. At first, I thought this was an impossible task, not anymore. With God, nothing is impossible. Together we can and do make a difference.

Our next e-mail edition we will pursue the medical evidence of this marvelous device. Thank you all for all of your support. You have made my life worthwhile. Gods Blessings be with each and every one of you.
With Warm Regards
Bob

at WAPIs for the World
Bob Tait is always ready and willing for people to come and help make WAPIs. On the first week of July we received just that gift. WAPIs for the World had two church groups come and help as a service project. They worked five hours each day for two days. It was very pleasant working with them. Both church groups came from Salt Lake City, Utah and were participating in the L.A.S.T. program in Portland, Oregon. These groups had youths ranging from 12-18 years of age and were eager to help with anything we needed done.

Bob and Margo spread out the work to be done on two tables. One table dealt with paperwork because Bob’s email had been hacked and his email address needed to be changed. We had to go through all paperwork deciding which could be saved, then attached corrected pre-printed labels to cover the hacked email address. All old inserts were removed from their plastic covering and replaced with new caricature drawings (Comic inserts) specially made for those who don’t read or don't read English. The youth finalized 750 inserts which was inserted with a WAPI and now ready to be shipped. We were busy all day! The other table was helping with the wiring of the WAPI which continued the following day.
What is L.A.S.T.?
L.A.S.T. is “Learning and Serving Together” a week-long mission project, that links small groups of youth and adults with service opportunities. Youth and adults are encouraged to think through what they are doing from a biblical perspective. They also study together the root causes of poverty and examine ways in which they can be part of the greater solution. L.A.S.T. can be tailored for youths 6-12 grade and beyond and is open to all denominations. L.A.S.T groups have been partnering with Friends of the Carpenter every summer the past few years.
L.A.S.T. locations:
Portland and Eugene, Oregon as well as Seattle and Vancouver, Washington.
